We would like to congratulate Uri First in Year 10 for winning the Bronze medal in the British Schools Judo Championship 2018 competition in Sheffield.

Year 8 student, Mariel Turner, entered a Sunday Times competition to mark 25 years of Horrible Histories.  The entrants had to describe who their favourite person is in history and explain why. Out of hundreds of entries aged 8-14, the list was whittled down to 26 and Mariel won the top prize. Entry into the competition was part of a voluntary holiday homework for a couple of our Year 8 classes. Click here to read the printed article.

Last weekend Jared Rand (Year 13) captained the England U18 Boys Futsal Team in an international friendly tournament in Holland. This is a huge honour for Jared who has been training with the squad for a number of months and his efforts have been recognised with not only a place in the squad but also having been given the captaincy. The whole school is very proud of Jared and his accomplishments to date and we wish him further success in the future.

David Stone in Year 11 qualified to represent Middlesex at the ESAA National Schools Cross Country Championships by winning the English Under 17 National Cross Country Championship by coming first in a very tough race.

David led the race from the halfway mark going on the win the race! His name was added to the huge trophy with names of all winners since 1965. Those engraved included Dave Bedford, Mo Farrah twice and our own home-grown Richard Goodman!!
