JFS Year 9 & 10 Sports Day Highlights!

What an amazing day it was yesterday, with so many students giving their all in every event! The sun was shining and the mood was high as everyone put in an immense amount of effort to make the day an all-round success. We also had a number of record breakers:

  • Coby Philips Y9 broke the 75m hurdles with 11.25s
  • Josh Amponsah Y10 broke the High Jump record with a height of 1.61m and he also broke the 50m sprint record with a time of 6.05s.
  • Ariel Choumon broke the Y10 75m Hurdles record with 10.84
  • Alon Taylor broke the Year 10 javelin record throwing a huge 39.60m

Congratulations to Nili Shmuel and Yehonatan Perry for winning the Colin Rosen Award for outstanding sportsmanship and boundless enthusiasm, whilst multi-tasking the job of being a Sports Leader, whilst also taking part in their own events!

A huge thank you to our fantastic PE department for organising the event and to all the teachers who helped supervise. Well done to everyone who competed!

Happy holidays to all!
