A Celebration Of Excellence

A Celebration Of Excellence

With an opportunity to celebrate the excellence in teaching as well as the contributions of non-teaching staff, PaJeS , which is part of the Jewish Leadership Council, received over 350 nominations from Jewish schools.  JFS has had success over the years but this year even more so as we had two winners and two finalists.

Each award winner received £5,000 and each finalist received £1,000 to spend on a new project of their choice within the school. As a PaJeS representative commented, “The awards proved again to be a wonderful opportunity to recognise teachers who often do not get the credit they deserve and to celebrate their dedication and determination.”

Congratulations to Anna Joseph (JFS Assistant Headteacher – Teaching and Learning) who was the winner in the category: Promoting Excellence in Literacy in a Secondary School.

Denise Sloane (JFS Subject Leader for Drama and Theatre Studies) who was the winner in the Category:  Outstanding Arts Initiative in a Secondary School and Fiona Bellinger (JFS Subject Leader Music) as a finalist also in this category.

Indi Padda (JFS Deputy Subject Leader for Music) was a finalist in the category: Facilitating Student Responsibility in a Secondary School.

We are very proud of you all!
