The JFS Pod area was abuzz with excitement as our popular Summer Concert was able to take place, after being cancelled last year due to COVID-19.

Our 60 talented students, representing all year groups, as well as Alumni, performed to a packed audience. Whether involved as soloists or in various ensembles, our students performed a wide variety of musical styles ranging from Klezmer, to Modern Classical and Pop.

The evening was also a fitting farewell to Mr Appleman after 19 years of dedicated service to both the school and the Music department. A cohort of around 30 Alumni students returned to perform a farewell choir song specifically written for Mr Appleman by ex-student Benjamin Fingerhut. The event was an emotional but fun occasion, with all students excelling themselves with their performances.
