JFS Year 10 students graduated from the Alan Senitt ‘Stand Up Leaders Award’ at Maccabi UK offices. JFS along with seven other schools across North London celebrated the completion of a year of work and showed how they have grown through the course.
The Project, run and created by the students, was a supervised playgroup for young children with additional needs so that their parents could have some time out. To raise the funds they held a non-uniform day at school and were even able to make a donation to Gesher after they had covered their costs.
Sydnie, Daniel, Sam, Eitan, Noah, Rebekah, Abi, Hannah, Ava, Jess and Talia are shown in the picture with their teacher Ms Wolfson. Jessica’s father Mr Petar, who is a trustee of the scheme, Jonny Newton of CST and Dov Green who is one of the project coordinators.
