Year 9 were treated to a wonderful ‘Kindness Programme’ put on by the Jewish Studies Department as part of the ATOL (a taste of London) project.
In conjunction with a range of Jewish charities including Jewish Care, Kisharon, GIFT, Project Impact, Friendship Circle and Jewish Blind and Disabled, students were given an opportunity to learn about each charity and take part in a variety of activities specific to the organisations who visited.
By the end of the programme, students had a suite of representatives to contact should they wish to volunteer for the charities in the future. In addition, the Shinshinim and Bnot Sherut team put on a series of educational games and IDF training exercises for the final day.
