Our incredible Shinshinim and Banot Sherut have been busy in recent days! Last week saw ‘Peace Week’ classroom activities and assemblies for all ages, celebrating Israel’s recent hard won efforts at peace and focussing on all the positive things which can unite us.

Years 7 and 8 had the continuation of the Bar/Bat Mitzvah programme, learning about the Mitzvah of lighting Shabbat Candles. This week Years 7, 8 and 9 had some fun Pesach activities (with edible prizes that helped us clear out some of our Chametz!). With all this, alongside regular morning Minyan and lunch and learn, it is clear that informal life is thriving at JFS!
