Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, will take place this Thursday 28th April. The day commemorates the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, the heroism of survivors and rescuers, and the theme of genocide in general.
Leading up to the day, Years 7 and 8 assemblies are featuring guest speaker Laurie Rosenberg, speaking about the twinning project at Yad Vashem. Years 9 and 10 will have further presentations about Yad Vashem in lessons and assemblies.
The whole school is able to visit our display in reception, and will hear a siren for a minute of silence on Thursday morning.
