This week the JiEP Department organised two club launches, the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Club on Tuesday and Israel Club on Wednesday.

At the Bar/Bat Mitzvah Club launch on Tuesday, Year 7 girls and Year 8 boys enjoyed a pizza and chip lunch with plenty of sweets and dancing. This club offers students practical ways to engage with their upcoming Bar/Bat Mitzvahs.  The next sessions will be 19 November for boys only, and 10 December for girls only.

On Wednesday students enjoyed the Israel Club launch complete with a falafel, pita, and chips lunch. This new club is for all students in Years 7-9 giving them an opportunity to learn about and experience some of Israel’s greatest achievements of the past 70+ years. They will taste the food of Israel, discover innovations in medicine and technology, learn fun Ivrit phrases, all while developing love and pride in the Jewish state. The next session will be 11 December in the Conference Centre – see you there!
