The Year 13 Media and Film Studies students celebrated their achievements at an end of year event at JW3’s cinema. Their coursework short films were each given a big screen premiere and were shown to an audience of special guests and their participating actors. It also marked the inaugural ‘JOSCARS’ ceremony and prizes were given for ‘Best Director’, ‘Best Performance’ and ‘Best Cinematography’ amongst others.
Rumours had swirled around this red carpet event about the possible attendance of HM King Charles or even Keira Knightley, but in the end, the students had to settle for Mr Whitehead and Mrs McEwen handing out the awards.
