JFS students, as usual, played a role in a number of Mitvah Day and Mitzvah Week projects in and out of school.
A number of our Minyan students were given the opportunity to be involved in a Mitzvah day project outside the school making packs up for the homeless at a local church hall with students from other schools.
Other students have been doing projects for Mitzvah week. Students made Chanukah cards for the children of Aleh, a children’s rehabilitation centre in Israel, and have also been making dog toys from old t-shirts for a local animal shelter.
Well done to you all!
