Over this last year we have created a beautiful flourishing garden that is now filled with vegetables, flowers and herbs.
The garden has been an amazing space to bring calmness to the day. A space to reduce stress and promote good mental health. A space for learning about the environment and food, a wonderful space to run lessons, groups and one to one sessions.
Both staff and students have kept up with weeding, watering and harvesting the vegetables and herbs. Moving forward we are looking at starting a lunchtime Gardening Club for students and have already received encouraging support for the idea!
