This week the Debating Society had the honour of welcoming former leader of the Liberal Democrats, Sir Vince Cable. Sir Vince’ talk was fascinating and covered a wide range of issues from Brexit to Worker productivity. A fascinating discussion was provoked following this regarding the economy, and listening to Sir Vince’s insights on topical issues allowed us to broaden our knowledge base, and truly understand how integral the economy is to each and every aspect of life. This talk was truly interesting and we look forward to hosting more speakers in the coming future.
