On Tu’bishvat we at JFS enjoyed the celebrations and activities offered by the school to celebrate the birthday of the trees. Starting with delicious fruit smoothies offered to the early morning Minyan ‘crew’ followed by the exclusive Sixth Form party where students enjoyed ice cream, slush and music. Finally, we had the JFS tradition of fruit kebabs accompanied by a chocolate fountain outside the lunch hall – the day was nothing short of ecstasy. Paired with the phenomenal kindness displayed by all students who donated money to charity and those who wore green and brown in honour of the day it really was wonderful to see the JFS community coming together to share such a special occasion. On behalf of the Head Boy/Head Girl team a massive thank you to students and staff for making Tu’bishvat such a memorable occasion.
