Our annual Year 7 Ivrit Shuk- Israeli Market experience took place this week with much excitement. Students were challenged to make objects to sell that relate to the topics they have been learning.
Armed with a shopping list, they had to buy (using all their bargaining skills) all the designated objects. The one condition was that all communication have to be in Ivrit. With the ‘mishtara’ (police) roaming, anyone caught speaking English, was fined.
The winning team was the one who made the most from their wares and successfully bargained to gain the shopping list for the least amount of money.
As always, great fun was had by all and you can enjoy highlights of the event HERE
