Year 10 Stargazers

Year 10 Stargazers

The Year 10 Astronomy GCSE class braved chilly conditions recently to use the school’s telescopes for stargazing. We were really lucky to get clear views of Saturn’s rings, Jupiter’s moons and the Orion Nebula. Students learn the skills of practical stargazing as part of the course in GCSE Astronomy, which is taught as an extra-curricular GCSE at lunch times in Year 10.
