Year 10 Stargazers

Year 10 Stargazers

The Year 10 GCSE Astronomy students recently held a successful stargazing evening at school. Using the school telescopes, we were able to see some magnificent views of the planets, including the rings of Saturn, moons of Jupiter and the crescent shape of Venus as it reflected light from the Sun. We even had a clear view of the International Space Station as it passed overhead – well worth braving the cold weather for!
