Year 7/8 Cricket Match Against Kingsbury High

In a thrilling match against Kingsbury High School, the Year 7/8 JFS Cricket team showcased their skill and determination, securing a well-deserved victory by chasing down Kingsbury’s total of 76-8. Winning the toss, the JFS Captains opted to field first, a decision that proved fruitful thanks to a stellar bowling and fielding performance.

Zac Lissner led the bowling attack with an impressive display, taking three wickets in just two overs. Liam Ketz supported brilliantly, picking up two wickets, while the fielding was great, highlighted by catches from Liam, Bertie, and an outstanding effort from Gabriel Bohm behind the stumps.

Gabriel Bohm’s contributions didn’t stop with his wicketkeeping; he anchored the chase with an unbeaten 33, hitting several boundaries, including a huge six. His performance ensured JFS reached the target comfortably, cementing their place in the second round of the Brent League.

This victory not only marks a step closer to winning the Cup but also serves as redemption after last year’s painful loss in the final. Well done to the boys for their hard work and fantastic team effort!
