YOUNG ART is an exhibition at the Royal College of Art for school students aged 4-18, raising funds for Research into Childhood Cancers.
There were around 7000 entries nationally with over 80 schools competing. Two of our students, Ella Bennett (Y10) and Hannah Schogger (Y11), have both had their artwork chosen for the Exhibition.
Hannah has been awarded 3rd Prize in the Drawing Competition and Ella’s work has been Highly Commended, which means she was shortlisted for a prize. She will also have her work displayed on a special wall at the exhibition!
The Young Art 30th Anniversary Virtual Exhibition is on Monday 1st March 2021 at 2.00pm.
Prize winners will be announced and you will hear from some of the judges as well as those involved in the creation of the Exhibition. There will also be news from Dr Karin Straathof from the research lab UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health.
